Bipolar latch type Hall effect ICs


Explanation of operation
Switches on/off when the magnetic fields from the S pole and N pole of the magnet are applied alternately.
This is principally applied in detection of revolution speed.

  • When the S pole of the magnet approaches the marked side of the Hall effect IC and the magnetic flux density exceeds Bop, Vout changes from H to L.
  • When the N pole of the magnet approaches the marked side of the Hall effect IC and the magnetic flux density exceeds Brp, Vout changes from L to H.
